While You Were Sleeping: Fashion Edition

THAT'S RIGHT, FEELINGS FOR A LADY.
Back when rom-com's were good, Sandra Bullock was queen of them all. While You Were Sleeping is still one of my favorites. I used to watch it ON VIDEO (yes, it's true) time and time again after it came out.
Well, and any movie that stars Peter Gallagher's eyebrows is a good time.
Sandra's character is equal parts goofy, practical and romantic. The whole movie, you root for her happiness...and love her SWEATERS. Oh dear lord, the woman has the best manly-looking wool sweaters all throughout the movie. Her style is slouchy but comfortable, and she always appeared to be warm and cozy. While I'm not particularly looking forward to another Ohio winter, her look at least makes me think I could survive it.
So, without further ado, here's my updated take on While You Were Sleeping.

While You Were Sleeping 2.0! LOL....I never really liked The Bullock, until "All About Steve"....of course it could've been Bradley (we're tight like that) who had me riveted....but The Bullock was really good in that movie. Thinned down and a cool dye job. I kinda like her now.
Everything's better with the Bradley. Hmmm...maybe that's why I like Jennifer Garner so much! Bradley was her friend/love interest on Alias!

Yo I like Sandra too. She's smoking. I just can't ever get in touch with her though... it's so depressing. "ALL I EVER WANTED WAS A MOTHER... WAA!"

I totally agree! While You Were Sleeping is a fantastic rom-com. I've watched it hundreds of times on VHS, too — I loved to watch it when I was sick.
One of the lines that I love from the movie is when the Bill Pullman character is asked what type of woman he goes for, he says "Blondes. Chubby ones." His delivery is perfect and it's obvious he likes women like Sandra Bullock. I also think the family dynamic is great — the way that they don't really listen to each other, but love each other nonetheless.
Such a good movie.
Yes! Bill Pullman is utterly charming in this movie. My mom actually has a MAD crush on the man ever since she first watched it.
I also love her landlord...one of my favorite parts in the movie is when Bill Pullman comes to visit Sandra for the first time, and the landlord is bent over a car engine...with a hammer. Loves it!
i love this movie! i love all the parts. maybe when bill pullman is trying to win her in a card game with peter gallagher. or like when they have family dinners. this movie rocks!
