That's right, you know it's not all puppies and rainbows here on TNR, so this is your chance to join in the snark-fest. So, tell me:
What is the most annoying, disgusting, or outrageous thing someone you have dated (past or present!) has ever done?
Here's one of mine:
He used the word "kooky"...for everything. A long day at work was "kooky", this meal was "kooky" and the laugh I had with my friend was "kooky".
But the worst:
He. Hated. My. Dog.

My ex used to ALWAYS choose going out with his friends and getting drunk over some QT with the awesome-ness that is moi!! I'm all for going out with girlfriends, and separate time, but there was zero balance in this quickly ending relationship.

I dated a girl for a while who ALWAYS talked about her ex-boyfriends. "He did thus and such that I didn't like", "I kind of liked it when this one did this"; things like that. She'd talk about the things that bothered her about the dudes from her past relationships, in kind of a roundabout way of warning me about what not to do. I found it insulting that she would compare me to other people and not get to know ME for who I am. That, and the fact that she thought she was being subtle about the whole thing.
Overall, talking about past relationships is kind of a pet peeve for me. ESPECIALLY in the first few dates. I'm not talking about a chick mentioning that she got out of a LTR a few months ago - I mean detailed stuff about the relationship. Some girls I've met on the internet seem to think it's funny to make the majority of first-date conversation "internet dating horror stories". They'll tell me stupid stuff that dudes have done and then ask me to share some of my own kooky stories. I'm not much for badmouthing past relationships - even if they WERE only one or two dates. Hearing their stories makes me a bit uncomfortable - as if they're warning me not to pull my cock out while I'm walking them home.
Um...duh, I kind of know that the situation in which such a move would be proper could properly be categorized as "one in a million", and that chances are, this isn't the "one" (no matter how well we're getting on).
So yeah, when you're with me, don't talk about other dudes. I really don't care. I'm not thinking about other chicks while I'm with you.
I dated a guy who was telling me what to wear when we went out.
Stuff like "Oh, you're wearing that shirt again? Why don't you put on the other top?" "Maybe you should wear a skirt instead of jeans"
Umm... Maybe I don't want to...
Yeah, it didn't work out.
Ugh, those are some bad ones. I had one guy that would be super crass about girls he'd been with. When I found out that he'd briefly dated my (at the time) hair stylist, he was like, "Yeah, I fucked her."
Nice. Very classy.
