Pretty Woman: Fashion Edition
I remember when this movie came out, mostly because the Christian community was like, "It's a movie about a HOOKER." Also, I think there was a bit of an uproar over the piano scene.
Whatever. Hot. I would welcome a re-creation of that scene any time, thanks. DO YOU HEAR THAT, THE BOYFRIEND?? GET A GRAND PIANO, STAT.
Anyway, once I finally watched this movie ABOUT A HOOKER, I of course fell in love with Julia Roberts, just like everyone else in the entire US did at that time. But my favorite part of the movie, of course, is the shopping spree, and the consequent showing of gorgeous duds from the 1990's. Yes, there are still lots of remnants of the 80's hanging on, but there's also a hint of the streamlined 90's glam to come.
My favorite is the brown dress from the polo match (at about 1:30).
And here is my take on that scene:
What's your favorite scene from Pretty Woman?

I love that dress too! I actually thought she had the great style pre-shopping spree...uh, for a hooker. Actually, I wanted to BE a hooker...but a nice hooker.
Favourite scene, well one of them anyways, is the opera.
"It was so good I almost peed my pants!"
"What did she say?!"
"She said it was better than Pirates of Penzance."
Love it, so clever! And the dress she wore in that scene... there's a polyvore set you need to make, including that necklace! Wow!
Oh yeah, I freakin' adored that movie. I lusted after a pair of those thigh-high boots for years!
