Dating Horror Stories: Fi

Today's story comes from Fi of Fi-ology:

I suppose this isn't so horrible, but it was certainly a crap date.

This guy and I had been talking online for a while (met through a mutual friend), and decided to meet.   He took me to a CD store, which is okay. I like music.

 

We then spent half an hour flicking through CDs, not talking much at all. Not really even making eye contact. Incredibly awkward, yes? And then he got a text from his friend and had to leave. 

A half an hour date flicking through CDs? Err, nice one.

He tried to keep flirting with me online, but there wasn't really anything in it. Eventually we stopped talking.  Not particularly a horror story, but then again, I haven't been on too many dates.

No, no, no!  Sometimes boring dates are worse than the horribly interesting ones, believe me.  Painful.

Boring to me is worse...at least with a really horror story date, there's a great story to tell....with a boring one...eh, not so much.
